Recess T-Track into wood flush with the surface using a router bit or dado saw blade.

Insert standard 1/4-20 hex head bolt head in "T" track, bolt pointing upwards, then your jig, feather board or whatever between "T" track and 1/4-20 thru knob to hold those items in place. No chance of slippage or movement, or bottoming out like other "T" tracks with threaded inserts.
